You just got to the party. Your friend said it would be fun, but he’s the only one there that you know. Soon, everyone suggests playing a game to break the ice. Great…You are awful at charades. Trivia games give you a headache. You can’t draw to save your life. You don’t know the words to very many songs, and you are absolutely NOT a walking thesaurus. You’re pretty sure that whatever game your host picks will require one of those questionable skill-sets.

Today is your lucky day, though, because the savvy party host is picking up Possum Squirrel Around the Rock. It’s a great party game. Its unique people-mingling nature makes it perfect for breaking the ice. Its fast pace keeps it entertaining and NEVER boring. There’s no time to forget whose turn it is, and everyone keeps their head in the game.

The object is simple…get rid of all your POSSUM POO.

Each seat—not player—is given a name (several names in later rounds). The key to playing Possum Squirrel Around the Rock is remembering the name(s) of the seat you occupy. If another player calls your seat’s name, you have to respond and call out the name of another player’s seat. If you don’t respond correctly or quickly, you lose and have to move to the Squirrel seat, collecting all the Possum Poo in the pot on your way. All the other players move to fill the vacant seat and the game continues.
